Biography

Dr. Rassheedah Watts is an activator, helping organizations and individuals build capacity for stronger connected communities! As a 3 time first-generation college student, she motivates individuals to move from the mental confines of I can’t to I will. She is an award-winning Diversity Strategist, educator, producer of the Diversity Minute televised series, and author of the book How To Be An Ally And Create Inclusion Using The A.C.A. Pillars: A 3-Step Approach To Effective Allyship. 

With over 20 years experience in both the public and private sectors she’s led many organizations in achieving notable firsts in the diversity, equity and inclusion landscape. She was instrumental in leading an organization in achieving its first national diversity award in its 50-year history. In 2020 she helped establish a nationally designated Truth, Racial healing, Transformation Center in the state of Minnesota.  

Dr. Rassheedah’s earned the distinction of recruitment into the United States Speaker Program, representing her expertise internationally in collaboration with U.S. embassies and consulates. 

When engaging audiences, Dr. Rassheedah masterfully elevates honesty with heartfelt human connections that inspire courageous action!

I have done a lot of work in my schooling about Privilege and Race, but Dr. Watts offered a wealth of knowledge and resources… her session gave me direction and empowered me to be a more active, brave ally. I wish I could have Dr. Watts speak to every class on every campus.
